50 Million - One Every 24 Seconds

It is the number 1 killer in the US; above heart disease, cancer, and every other disease. 50 Million have died from this since 1973 until 2009 in the United States; that is one every 24 seconds or 3,600 everyday.  What is this disease that I speak of?  Abortion...not a disease at all, more like a fear that leads us to do evil things. 

• Of all these that have been performed, less than 1% are due to rape and incest combined.
• The staggering number is that 7 out 10 women claim to be Christian at the time of the abortion.  This is one of the reasons I say this is motivated by fear.
• Half of the women are under the age of 25 and under 20% of the women are teenagers.  Of these that are teenagers, 40% are minors and they didn't tell their parents about the abortion.
• Another difficult figure it that 31% of all abortions are paid for with OUR tax dollars!
• One-third of planned parenthood's funding in 2008 came from government grants which is funded by tax dollars.  The ratio of abortions to adoptions was 62 to 1.  That is 305,310 abortions to 4,912 adoption referrals.
• Another fact is that 9 out of 10 insurance company's cover part of the costs, again, using our money to help fund these.
• Of the abortions performed, 87% are surgical. 
• Abortions are devastating the African-American community the most, as every 2 in 5 pregnancies end in abortion.
• As a whole in America, one in every five pregnancies end in abortion.

A CLOSING COMMENT:  I wanted to add my personal opinion to these statistics.  I personally have ministered to several women who have had an abortion and  most of them fell into the statistics listed above.  The one thing I do know that is seldom sited in the statistics is the aftermath of the abortion on the life of the mother.  The women who I have prayed with, cried with and mourned with over the loss of their baby is seldom talked about.  Not only does abortion stop a beating heart, in breaks a living heart as well.  The pregnancy may be ended but the memory never dies.  Fear is the reason most of the women I know for having an abortion.  Fear that someone would think they were bad, sinful, evil.  The sad thing is that all of us have done bad, have acted sinful and are capable of evil.  We are no different.  May we stop the cover-up of our sins and begin to walk in the truth that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.  As we confess our sins, one to another, THEN we are healed.  James 5:16 says, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

Founding Fathers on Glenn Beck

Starting back on the 7th of May, 2010 and continuing every Friday in May, Glenn Beck dedicated his show to the Founding Fathers.  Due to the popularity of the programs, I believe he will be adding to the menu of shows.  I will just add the shows in and date them, when I can.

You can see Glenn's passion for his convictions, whether or not you like him personally, I have enjoyed the series and wanted to share it with you.  I pray you grow from the information given here and truly embrace this freedom we have been given.

the Black Regiment by David Barton

Once again David Barton delivers incredible information this time via the Glenn Beck show on the Black Regiment. If you are not familiar with David Barton, you need to get familiar. He has incredible documents proving the founding father's Christian roots and this video is simple FABULOUS if you ever have gotten into a discussion with people about the role of the church in our government history.

David addresses the difference between individual rights and collective rights or human rights. Inalienable rights are what we are given by our founders. These rights are not collective or human rights. God give each person individual rights. There is no collective salvation. We all must answer to God one-on-one. Human rights and/or collective rights are different than individual rights.

Our founding fathers had come from Europe which at the time was very much as a society into this collective rights thinking. The founders left Europe and that way of thinking and said "No" to that as they established America. They said for America it would be individuals rights that would be protected, in other words, each person would give an account to the society as each man does to God. There is not collective rights or human rights in regard to man and his salvation. Each man answers to God for his actions. This is why the founders set up America to this model of inalieable rights. In this country, our founders have always made provision for people to object for conscience as an individual. A person can reject for religion or conscience because our founders set it up to be about the individuals. It is all based on each individual. Each person answers for themselves. Listen to the video and you will be amazed.

Arizona Law on Immigration

Well Governor Brewer of Arizona has been taking the heat on her newly passed law (SB 1070) to crack down on the illegal immigration that has become deadly for many in her state.  She responds to the critics.

The Mexican President's Speech and President Obama's comment haven't been properly informed about this bill.  The Federal Government has had this as law for DECADES and if it were illegal and racial profiling than the United States has been in violation of the law for years.  People need to read the bill.  We are a nation of laws and 70% of the American public agrees with this move why there is so much controversy.  The federal government is NOT doing their job so Arizona had to fix their problem.

The LA city councel called for a boycott of Arizona. Well, a commissioner, Gary Pierce, on the five-member Arizona Corporation Commision had a response to this threat.  In a letter Pierce wrote to the Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa yesterday, Pierce reminded the Mayor that up to a quater of LA's electricity comes from Arizona Power Plants.  Pierce stated that if an economic boycott is truly what LA desires, he would be "happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation."

The LA Mayor is dismissing the warning from Arizona.  Seems LA is pretty confident that they are ok to call a boycott and have not fallout to their own actions.

Gulf Oil Spill

I have heard so much criticism of the Bush administration regarding their efforts after hurricane Katrina.  Yet here we are weeks after the spill in gulf and more and more information is leaking as fast as the oil.  BP (British Global Energy Company...the largest corporation in the UK, the third largest global energy company and the fourth largest company in the world) has given more than $3.5 million to federal candidates over the past 20 years in campaign contributions to many members of congress and their biggest recipient of cash was, you guessed it, Obama.  This would explain how the Obama administration has continually stated that "they have been on the situation" (the oil spill) from the beginning yet there is still no viable solution to the problem.

With many crying that we now need to shut down oil production in the gulf and everywhere we drill offshore because of the danger to the environment, I found the following link (Solution) to be totally fascinating and a great economical, green solution to the whole oil spill dilemma.  Don't fall prey to the wolves crying fowl and their continual fear that they try to sow into the hearts of Americans.  These two southern boys have got their thinking caps on and have a GREAT idea.  Now, if only those who make the decisions would be informed of this plan and begin the process of the clean-up.

The Federalists - Quotes & Notes from the Founders

Since the first organized independent TEA Party events that began on April 15, 2009, there have been many smaller groups that have spawned and formed.  Some of these groups are a bit out there for me yet others have a wealth of information that I am so enjoying as I rediscover my American History.

For all of you who shared in my painful high school experience of History at Roosevelt High, I am sorry we missed so much information under the hands of such old and lifeless teachers.  Our school did us a disservice, yet, we were not alone.  There was a whole society making decisions to departmentalize the teaching of American history rather than teaching it from a biographical view.  We learned the dates, the events, the time lines but we never got a grasp on who these great leaders were and why they were willing to give up everything, their reputations, their status, their livelihood, their wealth, even their lives in the pursuit of happiness not only for them but for ALL of us.  Men like these are few and far between.  I pray we see the selflessness of these heroes again, but we as a society are less God centered and more self-centered and heroes come from selfless people, not selfish ones.

One of the off-shoots of information I have found has come from a facebook group called, the Federalists Papers.  This group is studying and discussing the Federalist Papers, what Thomas Jefferson called the best commentary ever written about the principles of government.  The writer has taken a person from history and focuses on a quote or writing of theirs to share with others in open discussion.  This facebook page just recently starting posting but I will be adding to this blog page as the facebook page adds new comments.  I also will add little bits of information that I want you all to know as well so I will keep updating this blog entry.  I hope you enjoy it and will learn a thing or two about our founders.  If you are from my generation, I think you will be surprised by how much was left out of our history books.

Obama's Birth Certificate Controversy Won't Go Away

It seems interesting to me that here we are two years plus after the election of this president and questions about his eligibility to hold the highest office in the land still are swirling.

Here was an article I came across regarding a new Hawaiian Law (Obama Birth Doc) and how they are NOT going to answer anymore questions on the topic.  Hmmm?

Franklin Graham, "Giving Islam a Pass"

I read an article (Newsmax - Franklin Graham) today with a statement from Evangelical leader Rev. Franklin Graham regarding the Obama's administration's role in revoking his invitation to speak at the Pentagon's National Day of Prayer event.  "(President Obama is) giving Islam a pass", was the quote from Graham.  The comment that Graham made to disqualify him from speaking at the Prayer Event was made shortly after 9-11 when Graham said about the Islamic teaching that it is "a very evil and wicked religion".  Everyone was speaking against these terrorists (after 9-11) and now Graham is being singled out as a person who is controversial.

Obama Reveals What "CHANGE" Means

This was quite a disturbing link, Obama's Change.  Here he is, in his own words, spelling out exactly what he is doing.  Why are people just allowing this man to continue in his plan to destroy our nation as we know it?  "The main plank in the National Socialist program is to abolish the literalistic concept of the individual" - Adolf Hitler.  This seems to be exactly what Obama is doing...destroying the people who built this great country.  Michelle Obama wants us to give up a piece of the "pie" yet they live high above most Americans. 

My favorite part of the video is Ronald Reagan's closing statements as he addresses an audience.  He spoke with such certainty and clarity.  "Let us move toward a world in which, all people, where at last, free to determine their own destiny." - Ronald Reagan.

How BIG is BILLION?

As our national debt is raising at an ALARMING rate, I thought this little bit of information that I received in an email may make it easier for you to understand the REAL issues and help you make sense of it all.  Here you go:

So, the next time you hear a politician use the word 'BILLION' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of it's releases.

Health Care Reform - Rep. Mike Rogers

Here is Representative Mike Rogers from Michigan giving his opening statement on the Health Care reform that is going on in Washington DC.  He is making valid points that need to be heard. The sad thing is that because Congress has it's majority they are not listening.  WAKE UP AMERICA!

Glenn Beck with David Barton (Faith, Hope and Charity)

Faith, Hope and Charity.  David Barton was a guest on the Glen Beck show on March 17, 2010.  This is a four or five part series on You Tube (depends on what links you view) but the segment I enjoy the most was the last one.  This was the one where David was addressed and share the most.  It is incredibly the information that David has and has been researching for years.  My oldest son volunteered as a intern for David years ago and saw first-hand these documents David speaks of and shares.  David has come under quite intense character assassination by some in the media but David doesn't back down.  He is called to share what he has studied and found.  I hope you enjoy the clip.

Obama Health Reform - Visualization

I have heard a few of this guys videos and he seems to have a knack for taking the impossibly large and complex issues that are in front of us and  boiling them down to pieces that we can digest.  If you don't understand all the ins-and-outs of this Health Care Reform Bill, this should give you something to chew on.

CNN - Secret Health Care Negotiations

This is more of the same troubling information that is coming out of Washington DC.  What is interesting to me in this is that this clip is from CNN and Jack Cafferty is letting his voice be heard.  CNN has been so on-board of what the Obama agenda has been and now they too are sounding the alarm.  Hello, Washington!  Are you listening?

Let us NOT forget the quote of candidate Obama regarding openness when he said as president he would "broadcast negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are."

So this is openness?  I hope you all are remembering this when it comes time vote in the upcoming elections this year!

Exposing Planned Parenthood

The Mona Lisa Project, Exposing Planned Parenthood is a girl with an undercover camera talking to a Planned Parenthood staffer in Tucson, Arizona.  The question the would be patient is asking has to do with images she has seen in circulation.  She wants to know if the images are real.  Are those images really of aborted babies.  The staffer assures her and out-right lies to her that the images are NOT real.  The video clip will then show some images of different aborted babies.  The photos are intense but we have to realize that abortion is murder.  We are killing innocent babies.  When we realize how intense this is, maybe we as a country will out-law this atrocity.

As I have stated before, I understand that many girls are in great fear when they find out they have an untimely pregnancy.  I have comforted many women who have walked through this procedure.  The one thing I know is that the pregnancy may end but the memory and pain never do.  God can heal the guilt and shame but many of these women carry the sorrow.

Nancy Pelosi - Pass the Bill...

So this is who is our speaker of the house.  God have mercy on us and save us from this woman.  Nancy Pelosi seems to make no sense and to think that people actually elected her...unbelievable.!

This is in the least, nauseating!

Lt. Colonel Allen West at CPAC

This is a phenomenal speech by Lt. Colonel Allen West who spoke at CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) on February 19, 2010.  It will take about 20 minutes for you to listen to the entire speech but it is SO worth your time.  He is clearly educated on the subject of the War on Terror and talks about the battle that has been ensuing since 622 AD in the seventh century that started after Muhammad made his Hijra leaving Mecca going out to Medina and this battle has been violent ever since. This ideology is called Islam and it is what's at the root of the War.  It is not about Muslims.  He gives a great speech that will encourage you and enlighten you.

Massachusetts Miracle

April 19, 1775 is where it all began in Massachusetts.  Against all odds, the American people prevailed and many called it a miracle.

Today our liberty is again needing to be fought for but this time it is in the ballot box.  A vote for Scott Brown is a vote for liberty.  Many say a Republican cannot be elected in  Massachusetts.  On January 19, they were calling for another miracle and they got it!

Kay Bailey Hutchison is Pro-Choice

So, to all my Republican friends out there that keep telling me that Kay Bailey Hutchison is the candidate to back because she is pro-life.  Here her in her OWN words.

She is NOT pro-life as a candidate....she is pro-choice.  She has become a very good politiian in all her years in Washington DC and it is time for her to step aside and let someone else lead.  She is the candidate of  "choice" alright but NOT the choice for me!
