The New York Times has published an interesting link about Republican Senators who plan to Vote on Elena Kagan. This is important as the President can't get any legislation passed without some republicans supporting his causes. Names of interest are: Orrin Hatch (UT), Tom Coburn (OK), Susan Collins (ME), Judd Gregg (NH), Jon Kyl (AZ), Richard Lugar (IN), and Olympia Snowe (ME) as they all plan to vote FOR the appointment of Kagan. At this link there is also a way to see what each Senator has commented about their vote. (NOTE: All the Senator's votes and comments are available to see at this link. I just pointed out the Republicans that are voting YES for approval. There is also a pull-down tab available on the link to see many lists regarding this vote.)
I normally am not a great fan of the NY Times, but this chart of where the Republican members of the Senate stand on Kagan (and also Sotomayor) is useful.
You can call ANY of the Senators at 202-224-3121 or 202-224-3121 and ask them to oppose the Kagan nomination and ask them to filibuster if necessary. You can find each Senator's name and address information at this link: United States Senate. Also remember the Christian Voter Guide where you can find information on any local office numbers by simply clicking on the states and also relative information from a Christian perspective.
